How the rules differ from pro baseball

  • Six innings

Games are six innings. A 15-run lead after four innings ends the game (mercy rule).

  • Little League field

Shorter base paths and pitching distance than a pro field.

  • No early jumps

Runners may leave only after the pitch reaches the catcher, bounces, or gets past the catcher.

  • 2.5 m lead line

New in season 2: a line 2.5 m off the bag. A runner who crosses it must go back.

  • Orange base at first

First base has two bags. The batter-runner touches the orange one in foul ground, the fielder the white one.

  • One base on dead balls

When the ball goes dead (an overthrow out of play, for example), runners get one base, not two.

Everything else follows standard KBO and Korea Baseball Softball Association rules.
